The Modern Inn (“Osteria”) Project

Ground floor

The inn’s ground-floor areas have kept their original walls, covered with bricks and local river stones. The furnishings are made of bronze (“brunito”) iron, raw wood and ceramic tile accessories featuring allegorical images. Cable ducts, switches, as well as sockets (all of them are exposed) are made of copper tubes and white porcelain.
This is a combination of industrial and traditional styles, along the lines of the latest interior design trends. When walking into the inn, one can notice the typical Bassano-made pendant ceramic lamps hung at different heights above the counter at the entrance. This blend of different shapes and sizes fits perfectly into this context.

Underground floor

The hall devoted to events and dinner parties features a gorgeous, entirely preserved, barrel-vaulted brick ceiling.
The two Razzetti 12 arm, two tier chandeliers from the “Guardi” Collection enhance the hall’s atmosphere. Their characteristic plaster finish perfectly adapts to the room.
The chandeliers’ textured-feel effect results from the ability of our decorators that paint the different pieces with a liquid ceramic coating which is then baked at 1100 °C (2012 °F). This kind of finish, infused with a shabby chic style, converts a traditional ceramic chandelier into a finely-designed modern chandelier.
